The Amtrak Downeaster is your ticket to Mid-Coast Maine, where travelers can explore a variety of what the region has to offer. From the historic streets of Brunswick to the quaint coastal towns of Camden and Boothbay Harbor, this is authentic Maine at its finest. Take the train to Brunswick, which many call the “Gateway to Midcoast Maine”. A vibrant downtown area, theater in the summer months and wonderful walking trails. The Bowdoin College Museum of Art is also within walking distance. We will take you for lunch at a uniquely Maine spot out by the water in Harpswell. The following day travel to Camden and Rockland. They are well know for their windjammer vessels to sail the harbors in. For your last stop, you will head up the coast to a hidden gem among Maine Harbors for two nights. Boothbay Harbor is one of the largest harbors with a beautiful rocky coastline, a bustling coastal downtown area and it is home to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, voted one of the top public gardens in the USA. This package is authentic Maine at its’ finest.

Day 1 – Travel by rail to Brunswick followed by lunch/dinner on Bailey Island or dinner at your Brunswick Hotel.
Day 2 – Travel to Camden/Rockland for a 2-night stay.
Day 3 – Windjammer sail in Camden plus a two-hour scenic drive of the area.
Day 4 – Travel to Boothbay Harbor for a two night stay. Including a harbor cruise in Boothbay.
Day 5 – Enjoy a visit to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.
Day 6 – Transfer to Brunswick and depart on the Amtrak Downeaster back home.
