Just wanted to share we had a great time yesterday. R/T Downeaster went well. We had a short
delay going up to Portland but we were advised and updated every step. Ride home went smoothly with no
delays. The taxi company reached out to me both Tuesday night and Wednesday. Driver was waiting outside
when we got there and the company reached out to see if we were ready fo our return. Barry, our trolley driver, was excellent – he made the tour so interesting. Mother Nature intervened when we got to the lighthouse, but luckily we didn’t get too wet. Found a nice place to eat – Andy’s, a short walk from the trolley stop. Good food at reasonable prices and if we were staying overnight entertainment was just arriving to set up when we left. Overall, it was a great day, definitely made better by having everything prearranged. I’ll definitely be reaching out again in the future.
