Travel up the Maine Coast to Bar Harbor, the home of Acadia National park before taking The CAT ferry to Yarmouth, NS. Travel privately up the South Coast of Nova Scotia to Halifax to join a group tour to Baddeck and the World Famous Cabot Trail. On route to Halifax, you will make a stop in Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend two nights in Nova Scotia’s capital city of Halifax where you will experience a hometown feel in a bustling coastline city. Then travel to Cape Breton and discover the island that’s been ranked as most beautiful island by Conde Nast Traveler magazine. The Cabot Trail, Alexander Graham Bell Museum and Fortress Louisbourg are all featured. You will return to Halifax for one-night before making your way back home. Day 1 & 2 – Depart for Bar Harbor, ME aboard the Amtrak Downeaster for a 2-night stay. Tour Acadia National Park or choose a local culinary walking tour. Day 3 – Depart on The CAT ferry to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia for a 1-night stay. (Ferry departs at 3:00PM) Day 4 – Depart Yarmouth, NS and privately tour/transfer to Halifax, featuring Historic Lunenburg. (Overnight in Halifax) Day 5Halifax hop on off tour or private Halifax area tour including Peggy’s Cove.
